🦷 Vaping might look harmless… but what is it doing to your mouth?
While vaping may not cause the same staining or smell associated with smoking, it can still have an impact on your oral health.
Research suggests vaping may contribute to:
💨 Dry mouth and reduced saliva
🦷 Irritated or inflamed gums
🦠 Changes to the bacteria in your mouth
⚠️ Increased risk of tooth decay and gum disease
🔬 Potential damage to cells and oral tissues
A healthy balance of saliva and bacteria plays an important role in protecting your teeth and gums — and vaping may disrupt that balance.
If you vape, don’t skip your dental check-ups. Regular visits can help us spot changes early and keep a closer eye on your oral health.

When your patient is halfway through a story… but you’re 5 patients behind and haven’t even had lunch yet. 😂
Trying to stay polite while slowly edging towards the door… 👀🚪
“Wow… really?!” takes another step towards reception 😂
We promise we’re listening… we’re just also wondering when lunch is happening. 🥪

When your dentist becomes the patient… 🦷😂
Even those who spend their days looking after other people’s smiles need a little dental care themselves!
After breaking a lower molar, our very own Matthew was in the patient chair, with Johan on the other side this time. A ceramic crown was fitted within just two hours, helping to protect the tooth for years to come.
It’s always nice when you can trust your own team with your smile. 🙌
And judging by Matthew’s review… Johan definitely gets the seal of approval! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
